Mark's Grandpa (and the kids' Great Grandpa) Tony passed away late yesterday evening, after living a full 90 years. He joins Mark's Grandma Eleanor, who made the same journey about 20 years ago.
As luck would have it, we all just got our last chance to see him only a dozen days ago, while we were last in Michigan. Mark will be flying back up to Grand Rapids for the funeral, which will take place this Saturday at the Holy Spirit Church on Lake Michigan Drive, 10 a.m. Viewing will occur Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Heritage Life Story Funeral Home - Alt & Shawmut Hills Chapel, also on Lake Michigan Drive.We'll all miss you Great Grandpa!!!

Hi there! We miss you guys... You have been SO BUSY! Thank you so much for sharing Mark's grandfather. What beautiful memories you have and so lovely you had a recent visit. You guys are so lucky to get to see your family so often even though the drive is exhausting.
